Clooney, a Hollywood heartthrob when he was younger, has been married to Amal Clooney since 2014. The pair met around one year earlier shortly after he decided to call it quits with Stacy Keibler.
And at just shy of a decade long, it’s his longest relationship and longest marriage to date, but how much longer might they last as an insider spills the tea about their time constraints for one another.
“They are both hardcore workaholics, so it’s like they’re in their own little bubble,” a source exclusively tells In Touch. “They are in two very different worlds 90 percent of the day. They’re leading separate lives.”
Clooney puts wife above career
The pair introduced a rule that said they could not go more than a week apart from one another as the look to coordinate their schedules, at the time they got married, as Clooney added that it “worked out pretty well.”
But with his calendar beginning to get fuller and fuller thanks to his role as a film producer, whilst Amal Clooney remains busy with her life as a human rights lawyer in Europe, they’re finding it harder to make the Atlantic Ocean as small as it was 10 years ago.
“I don’t have to act,” Clooney said in 2021. “My wife and I had this conversation when I turned 60.
“I said, ‘We both love what we do. But we gotta make sure we don’t book ourselves silly.’”
