Paul Walker’s daughter Meadow Walker has filed for a divorce just two years after marrying Louis Thornton-Allan.
The daughter of the late Fast and Furious star took to Instagram to share a heartbreaking update in regards to the relationship with her hubby.
“After three wonderful years of marriage, we have come to the agreement to amicably separate,” a joint statement read on social media.
“This is truly a united decision and we sincerely hope that everyone can respect our wishes for privacy.
“We maintain mutual love and respect for one another, and will continue to support each other.”
Meadow married Thornton-Allan on a beach in the Dominican Republic in October 2021, in a ceremony attended by some of their nearest and dearest.
There was, of course, a lot of famous faces who attended the wedding, including Walker’s Fast and Furious co-stars Vin Diesel and Jordana Brewster.
Diesel, who is Meadow’s godfather, walked her down the aisle before standing next to Brewster who gave her a hug.
“We’re married !!!” Meadow wrote in a caption posted at the time.
The happy couple were also seen embracing during the lavish ceremony, while also sitting in a white car together as the proceedings came to an end.
The announcement of the couple’s separation comes as Meadow had a small cameo in Fast X, which released in cinemas across the globe earlier this year.
The appearance marked nearly a decade since her dad tragically passed away in a car accident in 2013.
At the time, the Fast and Furious actor had been en route to an event for his charity with his friend Roger Rodas – a former race car driver.
Traveling in the latter’s red 2005 Porsche Carrera GT, the pair were driving to Santa Clarita when the vehicle unexpectedly collided with a concrete lamppost and two trees.
Shortly after the crash, the LA County Sheriff confirmed that both men had been killed during the incident.
It was later found that speed had been the ultimate cause, with the Porsche reaching speeds of 80-93mph, despite the limit being just 45mph in the area.
Following the investigation, the police department told press: “Investigators determined the cause of the fatal solo-vehicle collision was unsafe speed for the roadway conditions.”
Walker was just 40 years old at the time, with the Into the Blue star leaving behind his brother, Cory, and his then-fifteen-year-old daughter Meadow.
