Nicole Kidman has a few fans right in her own backyard.
Speaking with The LA Times about making her 1999 film Eyes Wide Shut, the actress, 57, shared that her 16-year-old daughter Sunday recently watched scenes from the movie while attending an event with her mom.
Although Kidman notes that her daughter may still be a little young to watch the film in its entirety, the proud mom says her teenage daughter had a sweet reaction.
“At the AFI [Life Achievement Award] tribute, they saw the scene where I get stoned,” Kidman tells the outlet. “They showed that and I was like, ‘Ooooh. Golly. OK.’ I sat next to my daughter, Sunday, watching that.”
“She said, ‘Mom, that was good.’ And then they showed that scene in Birth,” Kidman continues, referencing her 2004 film. “And she said, ‘That was really good.’ And I watched that scene and thought, ‘Wow. That was really good.’ And I never do that.”
